London Dungeon, The London Eye and SQUIRRELS

We woke up pretty early this morning - 6 am!! So we mucked around in the apartment for a while as we didn't have to be anywhere until 11 am, and left around 9 am to get into city centre.

WE GOT TO GO ON A DOUBLE DECKER BUS!
Trip made right there!

We were a bit early for our London Dungeon Booking so we did a bit of sightseeing, walking around the Thames and Westminster Abbey.

At 11 am we entered the London Dungeon which was amazing. We couldn't take photos inside, but it didn't really make much of a difference because it was all about the interaction. We entered the times of Henry VII, Guy Fawkes, The Plague, Sweeney Todd, Jack the Ripper, and a court hearing. We ended the experience by losing the court case and getting "hung" for being ugly. The hanging consisted of a dropping ride that fell 3 floors whilst we watched bodies hanging. To reinforce the experience we got to fall twice :/ All in all a great interactive show.

After lunch we went up the London Eye, which had some pretty amazing views of the city from all angles.

For the rest of the afternoon we just explored the city - and ended up doing more walking than we intended! We spent some time in Trafalgar Square...

...and in St James Park:

All in all, a fantastic day :)
